Mifare cards and RFID fobs deliver fast, contactless authorisation by simply tapping the lock's reader. The Mifare 13.56 MHz standard uses encrypted communication between the credential and the reader, so it is much safer than older 125 kHz RFID — the same standard used by banks, class-A offices and modern hotel chains. Cards and fobs come in different colours, so the administrator can visually distinguish user groups — family, full-time staff, the cleaning team or guests. If a single credential is lost, deactivate it in the TTLock app — no impact on other users, no lock replacement. Cards and fobs are fully passive, need no batteries or charging, and last over 10 years. The ideal companion to card locks and fingerprint handles that support RFID cards.

The Wi‑Fi Gateway G2 is a small bridge device that connects Bluetooth locks to your home Wi‑Fi and to the TTLock cloud, enabling remote control and monitoring from anywhere in the world. Without a gateway the app only syncs when you connect to the lock over Bluetooth — physically at the door. With a gateway, every event (entries, attempts, low battery) hits the TTLock app in real time. The gateway also lets you unlock the door remotely with a single tap — useful when you need to let a courier, cleaner or family member in while you are not on-site. Setup takes a few minutes: plug it into a USB socket or PoE port, connect to 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi and add it to your account. A single device handles multiple locks in parallel, making it the optimal solution for guesthouses, offices and family homes with several doors. A must-have accessory for Wi‑Fi locks.

Wireless Bluetooth remotes let you comfortably lock and unlock the door from up to about 15 metres away — in practice, press the button as you approach and the lock releases before you reach the handle. Especially convenient when your hands are full — coming back from the shops, pushing a stroller or carrying luggage — and for seniors and kids who may struggle with a mobile app or with remembering a PIN code. Each press is confirmed by an LED flash, and the remote survives up to 10,000 cycles without a battery swap. You can pair multiple remotes to one lock — every household member gets their own, and if one is lost you can deactivate just that unit from the app. Ideal as an extra access method for family homes with a garage driveway, for offices and for rental units. The right accessory mix depends on the property type, user count and preferred access-management style. In family homes and short-let apartments we usually recommend a Wi‑Fi gateway (for remote guest-access management) plus a handful of Mifare fobs for permanent residents.
