Mifare Color Key Fob

The colored Mifare proximity fobs are a practical access accessory available in three color options — blue, red and yellow — allowing you to quickly tell users or access zones apart at a glance. This convenient and durable solution works both for daily home use and for intensive office, hotel and short-stay operations. Every fob is made of scratch-resistant plastic, so it keeps its looks and full functionality even after years of being carried on a keyring or in a pocket.

The fobs are compatible with every SMART-LOCK electronic lock and proximity reader that supports the Mifare 13.56 MHz standard. This standard offers encrypted communication between the fob and the reader, making it far more secure than older 125 kHz RFID — the same standard is used by access-control systems in banks, class A offices and modern hotel chains. Every fob has a unique factory-programmed identifier that the administrator adds to the lock database in seconds from the TTLock app.

The fob is a fully passive device — no battery, no charging — because it draws energy from the reader's electromagnetic field on approach. Data retention exceeds 10 years and the fob withstands more than 100,000 write/read cycles. Read range is 1–10 cm, giving convenient use while protecting against accidental unlocks when walking past the reader. A wide operating range (-35°C to +50°C) means the fobs also work reliably at exterior doors, in carport shelters and in unheated buildings.
