Opening with an RFID card

A SMART-LOCK RFID card lock is an electronic access-control system that uses contactless cards to authorise entry — no traditional keys, no codes. Simply hold the card near the reader and the door unlocks in a fraction of a second. It is particularly popular in hotels, offices and rental apartments, where convenient access management and user safety are essential.

The lock reads a MiFare 13.56 MHz card at a distance of 2–5 cm. The whole authorisation takes under 0.5 s. Cards use 128-bit AES encryption and mutual cryptographic authentication, so each card has a unique, non-forgeable ID, all communication with the lock is encrypted, and cloning attempts are effectively blocked. The system also logs up to 2,000 events. Cards contain no battery of their own — they are powered by the reader's electromagnetic field.

We offer both classic credit-card-sized MiFare cards (great with lanyards or in a wallet) and compact colour MiFare fobs that clip to your keys.

In hotels an RFID card lock integrates with PMS systems, allowing automatic programming at check-in, instant deactivation at check-out and master cards for housekeeping. In offices and businesses, time zones let you program cards to work only in specific hours or specific rooms. In single-family homes, IP65-rated outdoor models handle any weather; families benefit from an end to lost keys, and rental owners can hand out cards without meeting the guest.
